Fourth of July
I had a wonderful 4th of July at Old World Wisconsin, which is an Eighteenth Century settlement. It shows the life of immigrants in the eighteenth century through different activities and buildings. On the fourth they had a special celebration and activities, such as a parade, an egg toss, pie eating contest, and greased pole climbing contest. It was a really fun day. Also the tenor of the celebrations were very refreshing in nature, and so different from many modern 4th of July activities today. Here are several pictures from my day.
Learning how to play the shell game.
