I came across a excellent quote on what holiness is by J. C. Ryle in doing some research the other day; I just had to share it.

"Holiness is the habit of being of one mind with God, according as we find His mind described in Scripture. It is the habit of agreeing in God’s judgment, hating what He hates, loving what He loves, and measuring everything in this world by the standard of His Word. He who most entirely agrees with God, he is the most holy man." - J. C. Ryle

On Friday March 28 through Monday the 31st I was privileged to be at the Arms Around the World Convention in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is headed up by Steve Sturtevant. The evening evangelist was Bro. Ken Thompson. Jonathan Lucas with Mission Helps was one of the other session speakers that I heard, and Bro Sturtevant spoke about his prison ministry. I also got to spend time with my sister Brenda who lives in Johnstown, Co and my adopted family the Johnstown Albertsons. With the exception of being sick the whole time it was a really enjoyable trip.
