Trip to Kentucky
I recently had the opportunity (over the Memorial Day Weekend) to visit radio station WMTC in Vancleve, KY. This is a holiness radio station that has been around since 1948 I believe. It was a privelege to meet everyone there. Here are some pics. They operate on the FM at 99.9 and on the AM at 720. The station is run under the auspices of the Kentucky Mountain Holiness Association.
Here is the Main studio.
And the outside of the station.
The FM Tower in the distance
Here is the station from the top of what is known as Wildcat Mountain. The radio building is hard to see because of the size of the picture, but is the building in the far distance right beside the Y split in the road, on the left hand side.
